OUR DAILY SCHEDULE:
This year, Ms. Akers and I will teach using a daily-block schedule. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I will keep my home room class all day...teaching Math, Science & Social Studies. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, my home room will go to Ms. Akers class all day for all Language Arts studies. On Fridays, we will have each group for half a day. (The schedule is reversed for Ms. Akers home room class.) We have found this schedule to be extremely effective in maintaining a great teaching flow throughout the day.
