HOW CAN THE INTERNET HELP YOUR CHILD IN LIFE AND SCHOOL?
1. Computers are the wave of the future..in a few years almost every job in America will require the use of a computer. We want to help prepare your child for living in this "age of technology".
2. Children love to play any type of game. Video games are a favorite pastime among children...computer games feed on this "love" and yet can teach your child at the same time!
3. The school day is not long enough to reinforce and practice the mastery of basic +,-,x,and / math facts. DRILL AND PRACTICE MUST BE DONE AT HOME! The computer lets the student practice at their own pace and reinforces correct answers. It saves parents time and energy and lets the child self-direct their own learning.

TIPS FOR MEMORIZING MATH FACTS 1. Use flashcards. 2. Only work on one fact (ex. x2) at a time. 3. When you master that fact, add one other fact. 4. Continue adding one fact at a time until all are mastered. 5. Memorizing is NOT counting on your fingers!!! Think about long division and how long it will take if you do not KNOW your facts! 6. Let parents, friends, relatives, siblings all help. 7. Play games in the car as you drive using the facts. 8. Use a deck of cards and see who can say the sum, difference, or product of two cards first. 9. Use the internet sites for repeated practice and drill.
